'An FAQ on Christianity for the Unbeliever'

One of the things which irk me the most is the level of intolerance shown by self-proclaimed enlightened atheists who go out of their way to belittle Christians or other believers for their opinion. You know, folks: Tolerance goes both ways. You can't expect theists to respect your beliefs (or rather lack thereof) if you don't tolerate theirs. Or make the effort to inform yourself about what makes them tick.

My friend Amanda - a Christian herself - posted the following link on her Facebook which I found an interesting read: An FAQ on Christianity for the Unbeliever. It's a humorous, very well written article explaining why Christians think the way they do. I certainly don't agree with their way of thinking, being an atheist myself; nevertheless, it is rather enlightening to read.

Entirely unrelated shameless plug: Amanda is also a nerd and a very talented artist. Make sure to check her nail art blog, Glittericity.
