The video sums up why Windows 8 is not Microsoft's best idea ever in great detail. Yes, the author is ranting and raving, and yes, I personally didn't have as many issues to discover gestures like 'swipe down to close a Metro app'. Although to his credit, I too found all the gestures by mere accident or via Google. 

Somewhat related: The other day I posted a poll thread on the Neowin forums - 'Your main desktop operating system for 2013'. In earlier years one would have seen a vast majority of Windows users running the latest and greatest. Well, not this time around:

Windows 8 still has a relative majority, but it's not as dominating as you'd expect. And this is on a tech forum the users of which are more inclined to use bleeding edge software than your typical Joe User.
